Well my Top 5 are going to be.

5) Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic - Xbox

It was hard to pick my #5 so I went with SW: KotOR. To me this was one of the most immersive and fun games based on the Star Wars universe. The story line was top notch and it was a game that I wanted to play every angle to see what all the possibilities would be.

4) Grand Theft Auto III - PS2

I was never much of a console gamer and this game was the reason I bought a PS2. Its style has since been copied by many other developers. This was the first game that let you explore a world freely and interact with it as you wished. You could do and go just about anywhere. I would drive around as a cabbie for hours just listening to the different radio stations. There was just as much development and detail in the littlest things as there was in the game play and missions. A game that you really received the most bang for the buck.

3) Ultima Online - PC

Having played Ultima games on my Commodore 64, it brought fond memories from my childhood that I just had to try this game and I was hooked from day one. It introduced me to MMOs. I didn't care for MUDS, but this was MUDS with graphics! Being able to play with and against 1000's of people was incredible. I made many friends and was part of my first guild.

2) EverQuest - PC

EQ took MMOs to the next level, so much so that I didn't play anything else for years! My character slots were maxed. My main character was outfitted to the T playing with guild members I befriended in Ultima Online. We experienced everything the game had to offer each time a new expansion was released. The amount of content that was created for each character class was amazing when you think about it. From raiding and vanquishing Gods to quests for Epic weapons it was an amazing gaming experience.

1) Halo: Combat Evolved - Xbox

I loathe Microsoft and when I heard that were making a console I mocked it openly saying it's just a repackaged PC with a crappy hard drive, they can't compete with the Playstation. Then something happened, my cousin bought an Xbox and Halo. I can't tell you how many weekends we sat and played Halo. I was blown away by the game, the graphics and the Music. I promptly rebutted my statements about the Xbox (Microsoft still sucks BTW) and went out and bought a copy of Halo before I had an Xbox. Then the price finally dropped and I was able to enjoy Halo on my own console in all it's glory.

KotOR is such an amazing game. Unfortunately I had played the second one first, but I've beaten it a million times. I am as we speak in the process of going through the first one finally. I'm on Dantooine.
Make sure you take out the wise cracking droid with you, it make sthe game just so much better. Haha

I bought KotOR for the original xbox and never got around to playing it. One of these days...
I meant still hadn't played KotOR 2, but I still own it.
