“A duel to the death! Like many players I started playing Everquest at release on a dial up connection. So this image was not only funny, but poignant at the time. Those little numbers in the top left corner of the screen measured your connection speed. Duels could be issued to other players anywhere in the game as long as you were both in the same zone. The outcome would then be broadcast across the entire server. While I was leveling in Cazic Thule with guildmates two very creative players rolled up some alts and had a little fun with the dueling system. Checkout the the chat window in this image.”
